Foggy Road Ahead – August 19, 2013

So sometimes when you head up north for a weekend, you can encounter bad weather, even in the summer. This is from a trip to Jeff and Alyson’s cabin from August 2010. We encountered a “patch” of  fog. 25-30 miles  of fog that you could not see through. We came across a herd of elk that was walking along the side of the road. I was driving, so no pictures of the elk. I had pulled off the road to shoot this picture. A scary drive. This image was shot with my Canon 30D, ISO-400, 17mm, F4, 1/30 sec.
